Year
4 have recently baked biscuits as one of their DT projects.
They investigated different biscuit types and designed their own shortbread
cookies.
They all had turns at weighing ingredients, beating, sieving and mixing
before rolling out and cutting.
It was great fun but the best bit was the eating of the cookies. This
was definitely a success!

Ama and Tom who are the year six School Council representatives, were
delighted to attend the Healthy Schools celebration on Friday 9th November.
After participating in practical activities, including yoga and creating
clay fruit models, they enjoyed a delicious healthy lunch. They joined
other children from across Wrexham to accept their fourth year of the
Healthy Schools awards. The event was an opportunity to reward schools
for their commitment to health promotion and to celebrate good practice.

Year 6 visited the Wrexham Museum to learn about the Victorians. They experienced what it was like for Victorian children to go to school and participated in an actual Victorian lesson! They then completed carousel activities involving artefacts and written sources before acting out the story of Ann Williams. An enjoyable and educational time was had by all.
